Conventions that my group has agreed to use in our film

We have researched different conventions of thriller films such as being set at night. We have then gone through the different conventions to see which we could actually included in our own film. Conventions that my group has agreed to use in our film are:

• an innocent victim e.g. a young girl
• a baddy e.g. a stalker
• Tense music, to build up suspense
• extreme close ups so that you can see emotions such as fear

We have decided to use these conventions as they are the typical conventions that are used in most thrillers and are suitable for some of the film ideas we came up with.
